Sydney Conner the illegitimate princess goes through life as the unwanted "bastard" daughter of Prince Kerwin of Naessa and a "Royal Groupie" until she meets Prince Reginald of Silvershire. He sweeps her off her feet with his silver tongue, impregnates her, and then forgets she ever existed. In steps hunky PR man for the royal family, Chase Savage. He is to buy her silence. Fortunately, before he can make the offer, someone starts shooting at them, her car blows up before her eyes, and then the plane they are on crashes on a deserted island where the sexual tension all but ignites.

Maybe I've read one too many romance novels, because I was not overly impressed. The characters are as well thought out as can be expected from your run of the mill romance novel and the plot follows along rather smoothly. Yet this is not a book I will be picking up any time soon to reread. It just didn't do it for me. The story was not bad, but it had no sizzle, no pop. All in all, your ho-hum everyday romance.
