Montanna Blackstone, a headstrong widowed ranch owner, is planning to open a spa/resort next to her dude ranch. However, she has split herself in too many directions. Enter Steele Hardt: a gambler, turned corporate trouble, shooter who happens to be sexy as hell. Without Montanna’s knowledge, he is hired by her backers to find out how things are really going at Black Creek.

This isn’t your hearts and flowers kind of romance. Steele is an accomplished gambler. He knows how to read a mark and extort their weaknesses. He brought that to the table with him when he became a corporate troubleshooter, which makes him excellent at his job. He uses these skills to force Montanna to let go and relinquish control, which is her greatest fear.

A hard man is a good thing to find and one that stays that way is even better. The sex scenes are wonderfully descriptive and exciting, never the same scenario twice. At times I didn't even care if there was a plot. The scenes are realistic, as opposed to contrived. It doesn’t take a leap of the imagination to get there. All I really want is to be Montanna for a day so I can enjoy Steele myself. The author brings some interesting ideas. I didn’t know you could do that with a peeled banana. I've heard of chocolate, strawberries, whipped cream, but no bananas. The idea is intriguing and is definitely food for thought.

I applaud the author for her use of the thesaurus and her imagination while writing. I've never come across so many words and phrases for clit and penis. If you are looking for a potent read this is definitely the book for you.
