The Rolexxx Club: Meta Smith

Desiree has had a hard life. She grew up with a mother who was always coked out and a step father who was always trying to force himself on her until the night he raped and almost killed her. Her mother blames her for all the bad in her life and she’s removed by children’s services at age 14. By 16 she’s stripping and runs away from the group home. Desiree lands in Miami, hungry with only one real skill: shaking her ass. There she meets Ginger who will become her only true friend, even if they do get off to a twisted start. Dez makes some mistakes and they come back to bite her in the ass.

I loved this book. I read it in two days and it was phenomenal. I was enthralled. The characters are so real it’s like you are there with them. You can feel their tensions, desires, and passions. I did get a little startled when Ginger went from stripping, hooking, and making web porn, to being a religious fanatic. She almost overdosed and Dez took care of her like she used to care for her mother. The author tones it down a bit and doesn't turn this in to a Sunday school lesson, thank God.

I recommend this book. It is fast paced and well written. It's a helluva good time.
