12485665.gifSpecial ops agent Dillon Gavin is taking a break from his demanding schedule when his life takes an unexpected, and complicated, turn. Her name is Jordan Kane, a beautiful artist. Legally blind, she paints with her inner eye--which imbues her with an uncanny, and sometimes breathtaking, clairvoyance.

What she sees in Dillon--a man comfortable in an unpredictable world of intrigue and brute violence--is the kind of man that an artistic soul like Jordan has never experienced before. Her sixth sense tells her that he wants her. Her common sense says stay away. But his first touch in the dark brings a sensual siege that dares to take Jordan where she's never been before...someplace intensely satisfying, and dangerously irresistible.

I would clarify this novel as middle-road in the erotica category. While the characters weren't going at it like rabbits in every scene of the story and performing circus acrobatics or risqué acts in the bedroom, we are treated to a solid romance story with some steamy, well described sex scenes interspersed throughout the pages.

All in all, the characters are well rounded and likable; the plot strongly written with an appropriate balance of suspense and down-time. A must-read for those who enjoy the lighter side of erotica without the down-and-dirty antics depicted in some of today's novels of this genre.
