L. Roxanne Zaborovsky is about to discover fate is comprised of an infinite number of wires, filaments that can be manipulated, and that she’s not the one at the controls. From the roguishly charming Mason Merrick—a shadow from her increasingly tenebrous past—to the dangerously seductive Leonardo Kaysar, she’s barely holding on…
Deja vu.
We all have it. The slight, "Hey, that guy looks familiar', or, 'I swear I've been here before' feelings. Though, Roxy has them more than the next and knows exactly why on top of it.
When she meets two men on her way to a 7-11 store -- both trying to capture her -- she soon finds out that there's more to life and time than what most people think. Seconds aren't to be wasted, and they can't be re-used.
I actually thought of Wired as a 'Matrix' sort of deal. Granted, I have yet to manage staying awake through a whole Matrix movie, but if I had I'm sure the book would have a shocking resemblance. But there was no way for me to fall asleep reading this. Chock full of one action-filled twist to the next, Roxy will keep you entertained through the whole book. However, you might need to read it an extra time or two to get everything right.
Some say slightly confusing, head-spinning books aren't worth reading but I say, bring 'em on!
