A Threat to Justice: Chuck Norris, Ken Abraham, Aaron Norris, Tim Grayem

In the eyes of a Ranger,
The unsuspectin' stranger
Had better know the truth of wrong from right,
'Cause the eyes of a Ranger are upon you…
Sorry I could not help myself, once I started reading the pages of A Threat to Justice, the theme song from Walker, Texas Ranger automatically started to play in my head. This continuation of the series is actually quiet good and like the Texas Rangers, shows how far the good guys will go to win…in the name of justice. Go Chuck!
The tale of the justice riders continues as the group finally decides to try to take a much needed vacation from the orders of General Sherman. The justice riders finally meet up with the general and decide that they would rather take their paychecks and run off to make their own way in life instead of being re-enlisted as the general’s go-to boys with one exception, they will make sure that they are in constant contact with Sergeant Shaun O'Banyon‘s widow. She will be their hub so that if there is a REAL need to get hold of the men for any reason, that she will be able to send messages back and forth via telegram.
Goodbyes are made and everyone goes their separate ways, one to make their fame and fortune in the gold mines of the west, the twins decide to party hard in Nawlins while the Indian tries desperately to be accepted in the college of medicine. Ezra Justice and his ex-slave black brother/friend Nate decide that it has been too long since they have been home, at the plantation, and begin their journey to Tennessee. If it were only that simple.
The gold mining is a bust and it seems that prejudice is running rampant not only with the redskins trying to go to white schools but with the thought of how dare the black man be treated as equal to whites. Anyone who decides that the black or red man is human is instantly scorned and of course, their lives are threatened. The justice riders must come together again and protect the innocent.
Through hangings, gunfights and young crushes come a tale that is riddled with the raw evil of human nature and the willingness to fight for what you believe in. The day will be saved and by the blessings of the United States government a promotion is in order. Justice will prevail!
The Justice Riders: A Threat to Justice proves an interesting read and considering that I am not a real fan of westerns, it did keep me amused for the most part. Though I have not read the first book in the series, I did not find myself lost in any way for most of it is explained in this novel. I found the tiny bit of romance adorable and the action scenes very well written.
All in all, keep up the good work Chuck & Friends.
