What do you do when you find yourself wildly attracted to the man you believe to be your Irish half-brother, Donovan O'Shea? If you're Rylie Powell then you say "to hell with it" and grope him up anyway. After all, he may or may not be. There haven't been any DNA tests... yet.
Rylie has come to Ireland to locate her long-lost father but the situation proves much trickier then that. It seems that her supposed half-brother may have the blood of the High Kings running through him. That's all well and good but does he share blood with Rylie? They must find out so that they may quench their burning lust.
Seriously, the incestuous quality of the first part of the book gave me what I can only describe, in the most professional of terms, as the heebie-jeebies. I understand having an instant attraction to someone but if you think it's your brother, don't you think that should have evaporated?
The entire book was one long wait for Rylie and Donovan to hit the sheets, with a side plot full of righteous murder and angry Irish bog-woogies. It all seemed terribly contrived and a little too Irish to be believed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this book.
