Christmas is coming and what better way to celebrate then with a collection of paranormal tales centering around four felines of very different types and flavors. The authors involved have brought together their very best and tied in some Christmas cheer. Unfortunately the cheer was a little too much and their best? Well, it wasn't quite enough to make this collection work.

All together we have stories about a shape-shifting leopard, a witch with a matchmaking cat, a soul-sucking demon cat trapped in a statue and genetically-altered "breeds" that I'm sure others will be familiar with from Lora Leigh. It's definitely a varied collection but none of the stories quite seem to work. They all feel very contrived as if they were given the assignment to write "something Christmasy" and told to run amok. Sometimes amok can be good. Not this time.

And Lora Leigh, well, she needs to find some synonyms for the word "cream". I've never seen someone use that word so many times during so many nookie scenes. Let's change things up once in awhile, huh? Thanks.
