Rating: 4 stars (Spotlight Review)
Poverty and homelessness can force one into the vilest of situations. For Ella DiBella and McGee, hunger and a stint in the pokey led them to a life deep within the seedy underworld of the flesh trade.
Hopped up on herb and dazzled by the attention, these two ladies soon find themselves on a downward spiral. Will they ever be able to claw their way back to redemption, or will they be forever lost, discarded like used litter?
Live Nude Cats is a short but absolutely hysterical paean to the endless pics that cat lovers will take of their "babies". Weiss has created a story of licentious kitties who tour America and parts of Canada, showcasing their furry talents. A world tour was planned but scrapped because McGee was scared -- of everything. Ella is the braver of the two but both ladies have their own eccentricities.
I would definitely say that this book is a must for cat lovers. It had me laughing wildly and loudly the entire time. Weiss even brings up the Lolcat phenomenon; the ladies decide this is something they too can cash in on. Now go out and pick up a copy; these ladies have a lavish lifestyle that must be maintained. Catnip isn't cheap, you know?
