GallyCat just reported that conservative whack job, Glenn Beck, has sold more than 132,000 copies of his novel The Overton Window in the first week. I tried watching Beck’s show once and I have to say, I haven’t been this revolted by a white man since my ex-husband. Beck’s delusional ranting almost makes Louis Farrakhan seem sane.

I think the scariest thing about Glenn Beck is that he has quite a following. Why anyone would devote even five minutes to a man who could look at a ball of yarn and find a conspiracy is beyond me. Beck has managed to equate genocide to empathy in relation to Obama speaking about a Supreme Court Justice, the National Endowment of the Arts to propaganda and even compared the Peace Corp to the SS. I don’t think this man could make a grocery list without invoking Hitler or Nazi Germany.

So now , instead of just fearing one man, there are at least 132,000 others to fear; and those are just the ones who can read. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
