In a world overrun with must-haves of the latest electronic gadget or video game, it's no longer a surprise when someone comes out with something new that prays on the wants of fad-loving sheep who inhabit our world
Mark Juddery goes a step further past the hottest new toys and the commonness of celebrity hype and gathers together 50 things from Star Trek to sliced bread that have earned the title of overrated; and deconstructs them, removing all smoke and mirrors to reveal their basic inanity.
Although OverRated wasn't ground-breaking, nor did I find myself riveted, it was a light entertaining read; perfect for those times when you want to feel smugly superior to the sheep.
